Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 2026-10-06

General

[Company name] places utmost importance on making its services accessible to people with disabilities. This website was developed and tested to comply with **Israeli Standard SI 5568 part 1 (September 2023) Level AA**, which corresponds to **WCAG 2.0 Level AA** of the W3C, in accordance with the Equal Rights of Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service), 5773-2013.

Compliance level

This website meets **Level AA** accessibility requirements of SI 5568 part 1.

Accessibility tools on the site

The site includes a built-in accessibility widget (located at the bottom-left of every page) that lets you personalize the experience: - **Text size** — increase and decrease (range 85%-150%) - **High contrast** — emphasized borders, shadows, and contrast - **Highlight links** — bold underlines on every link - **Highlight headings** — visual marking of headings - **Stop animations** — pause motion and animations on the page - **Dyslexia-friendly font** — Comic Sans / OpenDyslexic - **Reset all** — return to default settings

The site additionally supports natively: - **Full keyboard navigation** — every action reachable via Tab, Enter, Escape - **Screen readers** — image descriptions (ALT), form labels, proper heading structure (H1, H2, H3) - **OS-level preference honoring** — `prefers-reduced-motion` and `prefers-color-scheme` - **Full RTL support** — right-to-left layout for Hebrew and Arabic - **Assistive-tech compatibility** — tested against NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver

Known exceptions

- **Hotel results map (Leaflet)** — interactive map of search results. The accessible alternative is the text-list of hotels shown alongside it. - **Decorative imagery** — purely decorative images carry `alt=""` and `aria-hidden`. Content-bearing images (hotels, destinations) carry descriptive text. - **Embedded third-party content** — certain modules (Google Maps embed in hotel detail) may not fully meet Google's own accessibility expectations.
